SNICKERDOODLES!

so, I'm trying to learn how to use picasa...wish me luck!

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup shortening

1 1/2 cups white sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

Mix together in small bowl:
2 tablespoons white sugar & 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Cream together shortening, butter, eggs and vanilla.

Blend in flour, soda, cream of tatar,  and salt.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in cinnamon & sugar mixture.

Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350* for 10 minutes.

This might be Caleb's favorite cookie....the rest of us like 'em too!
