1-8 oz package cream cheese
1-3 oz package cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 prepared graham cracker crust
chocolate syrup
Preheat oven to 350*
Combine both packages of cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer set at mediume speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in vanilla.
Add chocolate chips and stir with a wooden spoon to combine well.
Pour mixture into graham cracker crust.
Bake cheesecake until firm in the center, about 40 minutes.
Let cool.
Serve with a garnish of chocolate syrup, if desired.
This is from a school cookbook and one of Jonah's good friends. It is easy as can be and turns out really well. If you were feeling ambitious, you could certainly make your own crust. I think a chocolate crust would be good as well.
